Subject
The owner of a residential building to be included in a public works project who has been continuously living in that building from the time of notification under the related statute until the contract conclusion date or the expropriation adjudication date is a subject of relocation measures. However, the tenants and owners of an unauthorized building constructed after January 24, 1989, and the person who does not actually reside there are excluded. If the project operator does not establish and execute relocation measures, or if a subject of relocation measures moves to another area other than the relocation area, relocation money is paid.

Residential migration expenses[owner]
Subject
Owner of and residing in a residential building to be included in a public works project district as of the time of the project acceptance notification date belongs to the subject. Where, the owner of an unauthorized building constructed after January 24, 1989 and the person who does not actually reside in the building are excluded.
Compensation amount
The monthly mean family expenditure of an urban worker’s family depending on family members according to the family budget survey statistics to be prepared and announced by a statistics preparation agency equivalent to two months (based on family members residing at the same address).
Residential migration expenses[lessee]
Subject
In the case of a lessee of a residential building who has been residing in a corresponding public works project district for three months or longer as of the time of the project acceptance notification date or notification under the related statute for a public works project and who is to be relocated due to the implementation of the public works project, compensation is made for the residential migration expenses for four months depending on the number of family members. Where, in the case of a lessee of an unauthorized building who has been residing in a public works project district for one year or longer as of the time of the project acceptance notification date or notification under the related statute for a public works project, compensation is made for residential migration expenses according to the main text.
Compensation amount
The monthly mean family expenditure of an urban worker family depending on the number of family members according to the family budget survey statistics to be prepared and announced by a statistics preparation agency equivalent to four months (based on the number of family members residing in the same address).
Expenses incurred by the movement of movable assets[moving expenses]
Subject
A person who resides in a residential building as of the time of the compensation plan notification date and who is to be moved due to the implementation of a project.
Compensation amount
Actual expenses incurred by the movement of movable assets including household goods, etc., i.e. the sum total of labor costs, vehicle fares, and packing expenses based on the construction area (occupied area) of the house.
