What are multi-family house prices?

  • This term refers to the prices officially notified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport after conducting a survey and appraisal of the adequacy of the prices of multi-family houses as of base date of official notification.
    Base date of official notification: January 1 every year (regular official notification) / June 1 (Additional official notification)

Subjects of survey and appraisal

  • Apartment houses under Article 2 3 of the Housing Act are subjects of survey and appraisal, as are multi-family houses designed for living purposes, such as apartment houses, tenement houses, and multi-family houses.

Method of survey and appraisal

  • Adequate prices having the highest possibility of a normal transaction in the traditional multi-family house market as of the base date of official notification are surveyed and calculated.
    The following are not used in cases of transactions, cases of appraisal, cases of sales, and popular prices. Prices focused in asking prices and abnormal transaction prices in specific conditions are not used.
